libconfig-autoconf-perl software package provides Perl module to implement some of AutoConf's macros in pure Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libconfig-autoconf-perl
libconfig-autoconf-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libconfig-autoconf-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libconfig-autoconf-perl *
You will get with libconfig-autoconf-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
